Welcome

The University of Toledo's Program for Developmental Studies was established in 1971 and includes the only state supported infant laboratory in Ohio. Since its founding, the program has been very active in the scientific study of infancy and childhood and has produced dozens of publications and reports in journals and at international conferences.

The program is under the direction of Dr. Peg Hull Smith. Currently, two graduate students and one research assistant are associated with the program, as well as apporoximately ten undergraduate students study in our laboratories every semester.
